This is a SOLID hardwood top that is 3 inches thick throughout.  The tabletop consists of 1-¾ inch thick strips cut 3 inches wide, then flipped up and glued together.  Because this top is so thick and heavy, it is usually built in three sections which are planed and joined together.  In most cases, the strips run the entire length of the table promoting an even appearance, that many associate to resemble a large butcher block.  Because of the shear weight, it is recommended that a strong metal base be used to support the top.

The standard height of our tables is between 29-30 inches tall with your choice of either 36”, 40” or 44” wide.  The length of this table can be completely customizable.
