We had the pleasure of building a stunning 14ft maple conference table for Wolverine Interests' new office, which was expertly designed by Clair Reilly-Roe. The table was planned such that the legs would be located over electrical outlets. Communication and power cables run through the table legs which help with the aesthetic. We may be entering Fall, but it’s still Summer in Texas! We get so inspired when our clients sent over finished design photos with our furniture sitting front and center and part of a beautiful puzzle. Many, many memorable gatherings will take place around this table and we couldn’t be happier! Our client asked us to design this trestle table based off of an inspiration photo. Of course, we put some of our flare into it as well 😃😃. This table is built out of solid white oak and has a custom fumed finish that gives it a rich brown color and is finished with an outdoor oil to keep the table feeling organic. What a project! Measuring at over 9ft tall and about 6ft wide, this built-in TV console and storage cabinet was custom built to match our customer’s current cabinet layout. We matched the doors and molding as well as the glass. We worked with an amazing painter/faux glaze professional to make this unit seem like it was always part of the interior. The center storage on this unit has pocket doors that fold back so that the TV can be viewed from the front as well as the sides of the unit. As we say time and time again, we have the best clients! These pictures mean the world to us! This is a custom carved Heritage Table that was built from our collection of 200–year-old reclaimed Cotton Mill Wood. The cool part is that the mill is located in our town. Our talented client had the vision to blend our table with her impeccable interior design. This is what motivates - being part of a vision, engineering a concept, executing the plan and seeing the magnificent final product. We are speechless.

Sometimes 24ft conference tables are necessary in

Sometimes 24ft conference tables are necessary in the workplace. This is no exception. What a thrill it was to use 19th century reclaimed wood to build this project in this historic building! Our client decided to have us install power/USB access into the apron of the table instead of the top (so that the grain was not obstructed). Want to know another secret? Other than the fact that this table can divide into three free-standing segments, it also collapses - the legs unscrew and the table can be packed away when not in use. To pop the grain, we applied a little “heat” to the top which emulates a tobacco-type look. As a finish, we used a matte conversion varnish.Super thrilled and grateful to have the opportunity to build this table in such a special building! #kswoodcraft #recentlysold

Tans and Grays are very popular choices of our clients lately. White Oak doesn’t disappoint by having some amazing tannins which allows us to apply a cerused finish. We are super excited to share this expandable blac

We are super excited to share this expandable black walnut table with you! What a challenge!! The first few pictures are taken at our shop and the final is at our client’s location during the install.Our client wanted completely unique modern table and ultimately responded to bases with multiple angles while leaving room for seating. Second, there was a desire to make an expandable option while keeping a sleek design which meant that we could not use slides. To overcome this, we fabricated braces that install to the under side of the table and support the leaves (for ease of use, we used dowel pins for alignment, threaded knobs for attachment and rare earth magnets to keep the leaves in place). Finally, there was a desire for the grain to continue through the body of the table to the leaves. Wow, this was a tough ask, but we succeeded!This table measures 84” at its normal size and expands to 124”. This is our passion - to take idea, creativity and inspiration from our clients and make it a reality. We are excited to see where this design takes us! #kswoodcraft #recentlysold

Hey everyone - it’s been a while since our last post! We’ve been super busy building some amazing projects that we are excited to share with you. Where do we begin to explain this one??? What a journey it took from our shop in McKinney to a client’s home in Beverly Hills, CA. Ok, so more about the project! Our client wanted a dining/ping pong table...there was a need to provide a sleek design while allowing space for chairs. There was also a need for storage...as you can imagine, the design phase took some time, but what’s great is that we have the ability to render our more complex projects which provides a clear expectation prior to the build. We’ve shared the final completion photos as well as the renderings that were made before the project was even started. Hope everyone is enjoying their fall!! #kswoodcraft #recentlysold

One of our favorite things to do is create fresh new designs with our customers. This credenza began as a functional concept, designed to hold objects of a certain size. Once we plotted out the layout, we got creative once again and blended a few hardwoods together. This credenza contains both black walnut and ebony.
